Information we collect
When you subscribe to BRC Insider, we collect your email address, the programming/news categories you select, and the dates and status of your subscription. We require email confirmation before activating a subscription. We do not currently collect phone numbers for Insider alerts.
How we use it
We use your address to confirm your signup and, after confirmation, to send Blue Ribbon Country programming announcements, special broadcast reminders, Artist of the Week updates, and selected country-music news according to your preferences. We do not sell subscriber addresses or use them to send unrelated third-party advertising.
Providers
Subscriber information is stored in Cloudflare D1, and email delivery is handled through Resend and its infrastructure. These providers process information to operate the service. Delivery failures and spam complaints may be used to suppress future messages.
Unsubscribe and retention
You can unsubscribe using the link in each BRC Insider email. Unsubscribed and undeliverable addresses remain on a restricted suppression list to prevent unwanted future delivery. We keep subscriber details only as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, manage consent, meet legal obligations, or enforce suppression. You can request access, correction, or deletion of subscriber details by replying to a BRC Insider email, subject to retaining minimal suppression information where necessary.
Security
The Subscriber Desk is restricted through Cloudflare Access. Subscriber records are not published on the website. We use time-limited confirmation links and avoid storing those links in readable form in the database.
